Elizabeth Flats a fully restored art deco building featuring a trio of apartments in Katoomba - the heart of Australia’s Blue Mountains World Heritage area.

Built in 1936 Elizabeth Flats offers you the grace and style of the era with modern features and convenience. You have the choice of two exquisite two bedroom, self catering, fully equipped, short term holiday apartments.

Flat 1 – with direct street access has one queen room at the front adjacent to the sun room overlooking the delightful cottage garden; one double room at the back with views of the tree lined ravine and south towards the escarpment; and a double sofa bed in the lounge room for extra guests. The bedrooms feature double wool underlays and electric blankets, with duck down doonas to keep you snug and warm on winter nights. Heating is by way of a natural gas log fire and electric oil heaters.

The kitchen is fully equipped including a gas stove, dishwater, refrigerator, pots & pans, crockery, cutlery and all the necessaries. The dining room overlooks the leafy ravine and is a delightfully sunny nook for a leisurely breakfast whilst admiring the many species of birds that thrive in the area.

The lounge has an array of games, puzzles and books for those days when it is best to be indoors. A wide screen TV, DVD player, and a CD player are also provided for your entertainment.

The north facing sun room is the perfect place to escape to enjoy a quite cuppa, to catch up on your reading or just to watch the world go by.

The stylish bathrooms of both flats feature deep, traditional baths in which to relax and soak away your cares or to ease those aching muscles after a day bushwalking.

Flat 3 – downstairs with level laneway access has one queen room and one room with two single beds, both rooms overlook the spacious back garden. Perfect for families with children as it has direct access to the garden and features a lovely covered porch with BBQ area. The bedrooms have double wool underlays, electric blankets and duck down doonas. There is a queen sofa bed in the lounge for extra guests.

The kitchen is similar to Flat 1 but you will need to wash up as there is no dishwasher in this flat. The mountain chill is taken care of by the natural gas heater plus oil heating in the bedrooms. The dining room is also similar to Flat 1 with the same delightfully sunny aspect and view.

The lounge features an open fireplace, leadlight windows, a wide screen TV, DVD player, CD player, books, games and puzzles.
